Very, very impressive wooden sticks robot that walks. You can see more details about the robot over at Robot Box or check it out over at YouTube.
What do you think of the Walkin’ Sticks Robot? Personally, I think it’s one of the coolest robots I’ve seen in a while. Would be cool to see it walk over other surfaces – like cement – for more of a contrast maybe? Other than that, very cool job!

Sounds like you're on the right track, but there are a few things that I'll give you some extra advice on
…
-As the first answerer said, a C & C cage is best, as commercial cages are not big enough for even two guinea pigs.
-It's best not to get edible chew toys etc. as they can contain too much sugar/articifical substance and are generally not very good for your pets.
-As well as grain feed/pellets, guinea pigs need a constant supply of hay (preferably timothy hay) and roughly one cup of fresh veggies (and some fruits, but more veggies as fruits are very sugary and can be acidic and cause ulcers) per guinea pig per day.
-Guinea pigs eat hay which keeps their teeth trimmed, and can also chew on sticks (make sure they have not been touched by any chemicals etc.)
Also, remember that you can get two male guinea pigs as they do not fight if bonded properly. And I recommend adopting as shelters know a lot more about guinea pigs and can ensure you get guinea pigs that are healthy and not pregnant!
Good luck, I hope that helps
Guinea pigs are wonderful pets and I'm sure you'll have lots of fun with them!

The question to me is why does Sudan come to us? Why don't they address the U.N. If they go to the U.N. we will likely be the ones sending the most troops but still it isn't the U.S. directly. If we go to war in Sudan what will we accomplish. Although I don't have any problem with the U.N. helping them and I think the U.N should go in with or without a call for help. Even if it is our troops they have some more legitamacy under the banner of the U.N. at the moment. If we had a genocide going on here then we shouldn't really expect help. You should never expect anything. We should GET help though. Now if we expected help from Isreal I could see but they are about the only ones I would say expect.
I guess you should ask deeper questions, fill in the void generated by the "pop culture."
The key word here is, " Brother ", the Jews considered all Jews as brothers the same way we consider all Christians brothers today.

It is cheaper to film in Canada, so film makers and such film in Toronto and say it's somewhere else because it's cheaper.
Some true, some false. I used to believe in perfectly executed, world or nation wide conspiracies: Never detected, never exposed. These have to be planned and executed by humans. But humans get scared, jealous, envious, paranoid, cynical, depressed, drunk, angry, enraged, deluded, and many, many more flawed states which preclude perfectly executed, undetected, nationwide conspiracies. So how can you explain the downward spiral? Once the family is destroyed, those children become defective adults who create more defective adults; a downhill snowballing avalanche. Evil and misery become the norm, the law of the jungle results and conflict ensues. Happy liberation! Welcome to Dark Ages II When will they ever learn?
i love gender-neutral things. it doesnt cause any discrimination, especially in schools and students. its like common ground.
You gotta be kidding me! You despise your own intellect that much? Look at this beautiful thing you just put up and wrote! Cut the crap and get with it. Then e – mail me your paper. And remember I'll be grading you!!!!!!
deff, go to the doctor! as soon as you can!
Plastic works better than wax paper because the wax paper tears. If you have a medium heavy sheet – not too thin and not too stiff – it works better for peeling off. Spray vegetable fat used for cooking helps. Also, modeling clay gets stickier and softer as it is worked. After you cut the shapes, if you have used moderate sized plastic, slide the sheet on a cookie sheet or other flat and put it in a frig or freezer for a short time, which will make the clay much stiffer and unlikely to bend or distort as the plastic is peeled back.
HEY EVERYONE– check out this little race-baiting nutjob's questions list in her profile and see how many times she's asked this stupid question!!!!
Here's my redundant answer…..
NO! Not at all. But it bothers the HELL out of me that SOME other people are constantly looking for things to offend them. Especially when it's obvious and they keep obsessively asking the same stupid race baiting questions over and over again!

Well, since it's about Christianity, it'll get a free pass. Could you change it to Islam, where the people met Muhammad and Muhammad told the Imam he put people to sleep so that this could get reported? Thanks.
Horoscopes don't shape society and culture (and vice versa). Culture cradles and forms religion. Religion then shapes culture. It's a constant cycle. They both grow and consume each other like a ying-yang.
I think it's because the Chinese government goes to such great lengths to shield its citizens from the reality that Taiwan is, in fact, a separate society, with a unique culture, a democratic government and a very open civil society.
Why do Chinese find it so humiliating that the world recognizes Taiwan's unique achievements? Is it because it shows how far behind China is in comparison?
The Chinese government demands respect and recognition from the whole world. The way the Chinese government sanitizes news before feeding it to its citizens is one of many other excellent examples of why the world will probably have to wait at least another generation before China is ready to join the modern civilized world.

Just as any product "oil" if you don't have a customer to buy it,what good is it?It doesn't matter who rules Libya, they will sell their surplus oil. This is about human right and the US thinks they need to stick their nose in any countries business where they see though rights being violated.I think we over extend our self on this problem. My opinion is that the middle east will revert back to their old ways once the US leaves.Their definition of democracy is not the same as ours, and that's one of the problems. We think we know what they want.We don't, and of course there is the religious aspect to consider. They try to live it everyday. We don't or at least most of us don't.We think religion is some think we do every sunday. They try to live it 365 days of the year.
It's not actually real…p.s you only need to ask a question once
I've pondered this for years. I think this boils down to how you define selfish. Our old pal Webster defines selfish as somebody whose behavior is geared towards their own benefit with disregard of others. I think most of the time, most people are not selfish in this sense, because most of us care about other people (even if they're not close kin). However, if you define selfishness as "people making decisions to fullfill their self-interest", or "People have to do what "They" want in any given situation", then yes, in that case I would think all people are selfish. Even mother teresa, helping all those poor people would be selfish in that sense, because she's ultimately doing it because she "wants" to. It's the same ,in that sense, as the bank robber who robs the bank, because he's ultimately doing it because he "wants" to. But this is such a simplified level of looking at it. Of course they're all doing it because they "want" to, because if they didn't want to do it then why would they, since nothing is making them. I think it's more important to analyse the reasons why they want to do what they do to figure if it's the webster defenition of selfish, or not. Mother teresa wouldn't be selfish in that sense, because her behavior is not in disreguard of others, where the bank robbers probably is (atleast in disreguard of the insurance company insuring the bank!)
So, I guess it depends on your defenition of selfish. At the most simplified level ALL people are doing "what they want" But, I think to make it worth identifying as selfish behavior, you have to look at the reasons why they "want" to do it.
The zombies represent forces that yu have no control over but are dedicated to your ultimate destruction
If it's what I think you mean, I've only heard them called "climbing toys," such as "climbing bear" or "climbing man." Here's a link for you to look at to see if this is what you're talking about. It's a bear, not a man, but just wanted to know if this is what you meant.
**ADD**
Actually, this may be what you're looking for — it's a man as you describe and when you squeeze the sticks together, he lifts up and does a flip:

Why call them names back? Just take what they say and brush it off your shoulder. You're smart, you see though the media and realize that it's all fake; not a real representation of any culture. So respect them even though they don't respect you and hold your head high. If someone ever says that again to you, just tell them how you feel about it and move on.
P&S is supposed to be a fun site. Society & Culture is more serious, So I stay here because I like a more laid back place to post…
I'm not going to get too specific on this.
You're probably dealing with modern humans. Neanderthals apparently buried their dead, but they didn't tend to have such a complicated toolkit. Also, I think only modern humans ever encountered bison, or would bury a dog.
Dogs weren't domesticated until probably 14,000 years ago, or so. We have Bison, so we're probably in the Americas. I'm not sure exactly where one gets ivory in Americas, except maybe from Mastadon tusks.
The stone fragments out front could be ecofacts, or they could be debitage. Similarly, bones from animals out front that aren't in the hearth pit might be suspect.
A deep hearth probably means a long or serial occupation.
